Brother Emanuel Franco Gomez, O.Carm., a master of divinity student at CUA, was commissioned by The Liturgical Press to illustrate their Spanish edition of the Roman Missal for the United States. The editors invited Br. Emanuel to present a conceptual proposal that would represent the rich variety of the cultures of Latino America for a program of illustrations for the missal. The press selected his work to grace the pages of their new Misal Romano to be published in May 2018. We congratulate Br. Emanuel on this achievement in which he gives artistic expression to his theological knowledge.
